This is regarding participation of DoP in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra —Phase II being organized by various district nodal officers. During the first phase from November 15, 2023, to January 26, 2024, a comprehensive outreach strategy was implemented across three distinct regions and 34 divisions. The Yatra, spanning 815 events with 75,681 attendance resulted in opening of 5,650 Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) accounts, 340 SSA and 350 MSSC accounts with 2,931 India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) accounts and 473 BaL Aadhaar (CELC) accounts were also processed, catering to a diverse range of financial needs. It also played a crucial role in Aadhaar-related services, with 5,109 mobile number updates and 414 new registrations. Additionally, 254 Digital Life Certificates were issued.

2. As per the communication received from UIDAI through IPPB, the second phase of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is from 5th February 2024 to 25th February 2024. During this phase 11 Districts in Karnataka Circle are identified namely Bengaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Mysuru, Kalaburagi, Mangaluru, Belagavi, Hassan, Kolar, Chikkamagaluru, Ballari and Bagalkote. Divisional Heads directed to identify deploy the IPPB / CELC certified End Users in consultation with IPPB Branch Managers & others for each location as per the schedule communicated vide the google link above to ensure that all feasible. 11. Social Media Creative for each event to be prepared and wide circulation may be ensured.

4. Divisional Heads may also be requested to prepare for the pre-event planning in consultation with the Nodal Officer for VBSY to ensure DOP customers actively participate in each event. The event may be highlighted through social media for wide circulation through our groups sharing the same in various social media platforms. Wherever feasible the Dak Community Development Program — Anche Jana Samparka Yojana are organized alongwith VBSY. Information on each event may also be got updated in the google spreadsheet immediately after the event. In order ensure better liason, organizing, management and ensuring active participation of DOP it is suggested to identify one official / officer exclusively for VBSY to ensure success of each event.
