 Process for updating the mobile number of pensioners in SAP || Getting Immediate  SMS Notifications to the Pensioners

Introduction of SMS for pensioners, intimating the following details:

Month of drawal, Pension, DR, Fixed Medical allowance, Additional quantum of pension, Deductions,  arrears, Income Tax deductions, Net Pension, with date of credit in to the account.

This service is introduced with effect from 31st July 2020.

All DDOs may kindly be instructed to capture the mobile details of all pensioners as early as possible so that the SMS reaches the pensioners every month.

Process for updating the mobile number of pensioners 

Go to HR master data maintenance through T-code-PA30 and enter the pensioner ID for whom the mobile number is to be updated. 

Go to IT0105 (communications) and select the sub type “CELL”.

Create a new record and enter the 10-digit mobile number of the pensioner and save the record.
