IPO Recruitment Rules (Revision) 2013 rules, - availability of Master Guide for IPO Exam

Vide GSR 89(E) - DOP's Gazette notification dated 05th Feb 2019 the following change have been made in IPO Recruitment rules. : Click Here to View

1) Name of the Post Inspector of Posts & No of Posts 2210 (approximately) 

2) Classification General Central Service Group B Non-gazetted ministerial,

3) Level in the {Pay Matrix Level 7) Rs. 44900 -1, 42,400) 

4) Age limit for direct recruits. Not exceeding 30 years relaxable for SC/ST etc. 

5) Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruits-- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or institute. 

6) Period of probation 2 years 

7) Method of recruitment 33.34 % by direct recruitment through staff selection commission and 66.66% by promotion through Limited Departmental Competitive exam.
8) In case of recruitment by promotion- through LDC Exam officials of various grades.

a) HSG II (level 6) in all offices including regular service in as LSG and PA

b) PM Grade II (level 6) in all offices including regular service put in as PM grade I and PA) steno Grade I (level-6) in all offices including regular services put in as steno grade II

d) LSG (level-6) in all offices including regular service put in steno grade II d) LSG Grade(level-5) in all offices including regular service put in PA or SA

e) PM grade I (level -5) in all offices including regular service put in as PA

f) PAs/SAs (Level 4) in all officials

g) Steno’s grade II (level-4) in all offices;

Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years.as on crucial date.

PLEASE DON'T WAIST TIME FOR PREPARATION.

        THOSE WHO HAVE CROSSED 8 YEARS OF SERVICE IN PA/SA MAY NOW PREPARE HARDLY FOR THIS EXAM. LSG/STENOS / OTHERS MAY ALSO PREPARE FOR THE EXAM..AT LEAST 4 HOURS TIME IS REQUIRED FOR THE PREPARATION DAILY AND U WILL SUCCEED I N THE EXAM. TIME WILL NOT WAIT FOR YOU.
