As an outcome of discussion held today with the Secretary (Posts), it has been decided that pan India IPPB account opening for the general public will start from Monday i.e. 20.08.18.

It is further requested that relevant stakeholders in DoP are accordingly advised.

1. NO CASH DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWAL TRANSACTION TO TAKE PLACE BOTH AT COUNTERS AND MICRO ATM

2. NO DOP POSA LINKING WITH IPPB ACCOUNT TO TAKE PLACE

3. NO SWEEP IN TRANSACTIONS ARE UNDERTAKEN

4. NO QR CARD IS ISSUED FOR ACCOUNTS OPENED

Above four instructions shall remain inforce till further instructions.
