Confirmed DA/DR from July 2026 at 63% – All-India CPI-IW for May 2026 Released
The All-India CPI-IW for May 2026 increased by 0.9 points and stood at 150.8 points (one hundred fifty point eight). This change in the CPI-IW marks the progress of the calculation for the expected DA/DR from July 2026 for Central Government employees and pensioners, with the calculation point reaching 63.15% in the fifth month. Now, the confirmed figure of DA/DR for July has arrived at the rate of 63% as per the table given below. If a major increase of 3.0 points, a major decrease of 5.0 points, or no change occurs in the index for the next month, the DA/DR figure will remain constant at 63% from July 2026.
The CPI-IW index for the remaining one month will confirm this expectation in the DA/DR figure for July 2026, and it can be concluded that the DA/DR from the month of July 2026 is confirmed to be 63%.
