APPEAL

Please refer to your Notice No.GDS/PJCA/5/1/2018 dated 1/09/2022 regarding Dharna on 28.09.2022 & Indefinite Hunger Fast on 19.10.2022 in support of your charter of demands.

2. The issues submitted by you are under examination of the Department and the Department is to consider the issues raised by Association within the framework of the existing rules and instructions of the Government of India/Department of Posts.

3. On behalf of the Department, I would, therefore, request to call off the proposed Dharna on 28/09/2022 & Indefinite Hunger strike from 19.10.2022 onwards. At this juncture, when the nation is recovering with full strength from setback of pandemic, any disruption in postal services will have adverse impact on the recovery from pandemic and image and functioning of the department also.
